They are also known for their unique appearance, with their flat bodies and sucker-like mouths. **

Corydoras and Ancistrus catfish are bottom-dwelling fish that should be fed sinking pellets or wafers. Feed them once or twice a day, offering only as much food as they can consume in a few minutes to prevent overfeeding and water quality issues. It is best to feed them in the evening or right before turning off the aquarium lights, as they are more active during the night and will have a better chance to find and eat the food. Additionally, supplement their diet with occasional treats like frozen or live foods to provide a varied and balanced diet. **

It is unlikely that all 100 brown catfish were sold as Ancistrus spec, as this species is not typically sold in such large quantities. It is possible that some of the catfish were mislabeled or misidentified, leading to the sale of a different species under the name Ancistrus spec. It is important to verify the species of fish being sold and to ensure accurate labeling to prevent any confusion or misrepresentation. **
